Kinky Straight Bundles
Kinky Straight hair that looks like your own natural hair, pressed.
With a slightly coarse, textured finish, our Kinky Straight bundles blend with natural 4a–4c hair for a seamless, believable leave-out. Wear it sleek and straight or set it for volume.

How many do I need? 3 bundles for a full sew-in, or 3–4 for 20" and longer.

Follow these steps and your 100% human hair can last 1–3 years:
Before your install
Wash your bundles before installing with a gentle sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner. This removes any factory residue.
Let the hair air dry flat on a towel, or blow-dry on low heat with a heat protectant.
Don't cut or remove the weft band until your stylist is ready to sew.
Washing (every 7–10 days, or after heavy product build-up)
Gently detangle from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush before washing.
Wash in lukewarm water, smoothing shampoo downwards. Never rub, twist or scrub the hair.
Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends. Keep it away from the weft and tracks.
Rinse in cool water to seal the cuticle.
Pat dry with a microfibre towel or cotton T-shirt, then apply a light leave-in conditioner.
Air dry or blow-dry on low to medium heat.
Daily care
Brush gently from ends to roots, holding the hair at the root to avoid pulling on the weft.
Use a lightweight oil or serum on the ends only. Heavy oils weigh Yaki hair down and cause build-up.
Keep products away from your tracks and scalp.
Heat styling
Always use a heat protectant.
Keep straighteners and curling tongs at 180°C or below.
Limit heat to 2–3 times a week to keep the hair soft and full.
Night-time
Wrap your hair or put it in a loose plait or low ponytail.
Sleep in a silk or satin bonnet or scarf, or on a satin pillowcase. This prevents tangling and frizz.
Swimming and the gym
Tie the hair up and wear a swim cap. Rinse with fresh water straight after chlorine or salt water, then condition.
After the gym, let your scalp and tracks dry fully to avoid build-up and odour.
Colouring
This hair can be dyed, but the quality and lifespan may change once coloured. We recommend colouring by a professional stylist. Coloured hair cannot be returned.
Taking it out and re-using
Remove your install carefully without cutting the weft.
Wash, condition and air dry the bundles, then store them flat or loosely rolled in a breathable bag or the original packaging.
Well-cared-for bundles can be re-installed several times.

Products with alcohol, sulphates or heavy silicones
Sleeping on wet hair
Brushing when the hair is soaking wet and tangled
Bleaching or lifting the colour at home

What type of hair is it? All our bundles are 100% virgin hair, the same quality Rachel uses for her bridal clients.
What's the difference between Yaki Straight and Kinky Straight? Yaki Straight matches relaxed or blow-dried Afro hair and has a smoother finish. Kinky Straight is coarser and matches natural hair that has been pressed. If you're leaving out your own natural hair, Kinky Straight usually blends best with minimal heat.
How many bundles do I need? Most full sew-ins need 3 bundles. For lengths of 20" and longer, or a very full look, order 3–4. You can also email us your inspiration picture.
Can I colour or heat style the hair? Yes, you can straighten and curl it. Always use a heat protectant. Colouring is possible but should be done by a professional, and it voids returns. Additionally, Yaki and Kinky can keep a curl, but not for too long. Soft curls is better achieved with Yaki and Kinky.
How long will the hair last? With proper care, 1–3 years. Wash gently, condition well, and sleep in a silk bonnet or scarf.
When will my order ship? Orders are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days. UK orders arrive the next working day after your order has been dispatched. You'll get a tracking number by email once your order ships, so please check your spam folder.
Do you ship internationally? Yes, with DHL Express. There is a minimum of 3 bundles for international orders. Import duties and taxes are paid by the customer on arrival. Delivery time is 4-7 business days after order is dispatched.
Can I return my hair? For hygiene reasons, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused hair in its original packaging within 14 days. See our Refunds & Returns page.
Can I book an install with Rachel? Yes. Weave installs and bridal styling can be booked on our Appointments page. Please note we only install hair supplied by us.
